First let me thank Bob Nagy for a job well done as the GM for the 10U. Bob always took care of things right away if you needed him to. And as far as posting the standings, Bob did a good job and if anyone thinks they can do better then they should step up next year. Sportsmanship......In the first paragraph of the DBA rules it is stressed that this league is an instructional league and that coaches should enforce good sportsmanship to his/her players and other coaches. It would be nice to see that a little bit better next year. I personally had a very young team who all were basically new players and this was a year of learning. My girls and I had a fun year even though we only won one game. I even had a coach tell me what good sportsmanship my team and myself had. What good sportsmanship was it on his part when a team in the top 5 of all the teams in the 10U decides to run his girls against a team that won 2 games (1 was a forfeit). To me that is not good sportsmanship. On top of that, himself and his other base coach neglected to shake hands at the end of the game. I'm sure I will get allot of flack on this posting but maybe next year teams can work on their sportsmanship a little better. This should be fun for all the kids playing!
